I'm Abdul Rehman Waseem, a Fullstack Developer
I build web, mobile and 3D applications. Senior fullstack developer at Forrof.io, founder of Scrawlkit, and I have been writing code since I was 14.
I am Abdul Rehman Waseem. I am 18 and I have been building things on the web for about four years, since I started teaching myself to code at 14.
Most of what I do falls into two halves. During the week I am a senior fullstack developer and 3D web specialist at Forrof.io, where I work on SaaS products across web, mobile and desktop. The rest of the time I build my own.
What I am building now
Scrawlkit is my product. You pick a hand-drawn video template, type a few words, and download an MP4 that looks inked on paper. It is made for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, where almost everything else in the feed is bold text over stock footage.
It runs on Next.js 16 with Remotion rendering videos on AWS Lambda, Better Auth for accounts, Drizzle on Neon Postgres, and Stripe for subscriptions. I built and run all of it on my own, from the drawing engine to the billing. I wrote up how it works and what broke along the way, including a Windows bug that quietly deleted my fonts on every deploy.
Three renders a month are free if you want to try it.
What I build with
React and Next.js for most things, NestJS or Express behind them, and TypeScript throughout. React Native when it needs to be an app, Electron when it needs to be a desktop program.
The 3D work is React Three Fiber, WebGL and GLSL, with Blender for the models. That is the part people are usually most surprised by, and it is how I ended up specialising at Forrof.
I am reading about system design at the moment, and studying computer science at the University of Sindh alongside the work.
Before this
I built ShopFlow in late 2023, a shop management system on the PERN stack with invoicing, inventory and live dashboards. It was my first real product and taught me most of what I know about shipping something people actually use.
I also spent a year teaching. First an online frontend course covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React, then in-person freelancing and IT workshops at E.Zone Academy. Explaining a thing to someone else is still the fastest way I have found to learn it properly.
In February 2026 I took first place at the HydThon AI Hackathon in Hyderabad, a few months after finishing in the top five at SMIT's Coding Night.
Working together
I have built for more than twenty clients and founders so far, mostly SaaS platforms, dashboards and 3D web work. If you have something you want built, or you just want to talk about Remotion or React Three Fiber, write to me at contact@abdulrehmanwaseem.me.
You can also find me on LinkedIn and GitHub, and everything I ship ends up on this blog eventually.
